H.O.R.S.E. is a type of poker tournament that features a mix of different poker variants. The acronym stands for the five variants that are typically played in the tournament: Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, Seven-card Stud, and Eight-or-better (Seven-card Stud Hi-Lo).

In a H.O.R.S.E. event, each round of play is typically a different variant, and the order in which the variants are played is typically fixed. For example, a H.O.R.S.E. event might start with a round of Hold’em, followed by a round of Omaha, and so on. The tournament continues in this way until all of the variants have been played, at which point the tournament is over.

H.O.R.S.E. events are popular among poker players because they offer a mix of different challenges and require players to be skilled in a variety of poker variants. H.O.R.S.E. events are typically held at major poker tournaments, such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the World Poker Tour (WPT).
